Accuhaler (Diskus)

Steps for the Accuhaler® (Diskus®)

1. Hold accuhaler horizontally
2. Push the lever away from the mouthpiece until you hear the “click”
3. Exhale as much as you can
4. Exhale away from the mouthpiece
5. Place mouthpiece between lips and teeth to seal the mouthpiece
6. Inhale forcefully and deeply
7. Remove accuhaler from the mouth
8. Hold breath for 5 – 10 seconds
