Pressurized Metered Dose Inhaler (PMDI) + Spacer

Steps for the Pressurized Metered Dose Inhaler (pMDI) + Spacer

1. Shake the inhaler well
2. Fit the inhaler into the opening at the end of the spacer
3. Place mouthpiece between lips and teeth to seal the mouthpiece
4. Breathe out gently
5. Press the inhaler once only
6. Take 5 – 10 slow breaths, in and out through the mouth
7. Do not remove the spacer from the mouth during breaths
8. Remove spacer from the mouth
